Paint Parties can be done in a secular setting, or done with a Biblical message, either way, they don’t require any artistic talent to participate. The sessions are done in a one time group setting, approx. 2 hours in length with step by step instructions for creating the artwork.
I bring the party to your location in the surrounding areas of Jacksonville, FL. There is a 10 person fee minimum to host an event.
The fee for a session is $30.00 per person. This includes an 11x14 canvas, paints, brushes, table coverings, paper towels, palette paper, and all other supplies required, plus a pass-out sheet with an overview of the lesson taught. Beverages and food are not included.
Please contact me at [email protected] for more information or to book an event.
"Ellen, Thanks so much to you for coming and presenting a wonderful message and teaching us how to express it on canvas. I believe that is the first time I have ever painted on a canvas - it has always scared me! I loved it, once I got into it, now I wish I had 5 more minutes, a dab of paint and a brush - to fix one thing!! We appreciate your patience with us, what a group! I enjoy being a part of a youthful group of committed women, who come weekly to study God's word. It is such a blessing to me. Please keep me posted as you add new studies, I know we would definitely do it again. In Christ, Cheryl Bradford"
"Ellen, this is the second time I have had the pleasure of participating in your Praise and Painting class. Both times I was moved by the impact that this spiritual process has had on me. Your guidance through the painting and your thought provoking questions during the inspirational message brings one to delve deeper into the meaning of those beautiful words in the Bible. What a beautiful gift you have to bring the word of God to us and then the additional bonus of bringing home a painting that is a remembrance on canvas of the message presented. I have never painted before, but under your patient guidance there is a comfortable atmosphere of brush and paint freedom. It does not have to be perfection, but the process is fun and though we may not always "think" our little piece of art is particularly what "we" envisioned it to turn out, the message and words are still there in the image and it is a part of our spirit that is left in that artwork making our own painting unique. . .reminding me a-bit of our own imperfections and growth into a more improved and knowledgeable spiritual being. Thank you Ellen for sharing your gift of Art and Ministry. I am looking forward to telling my friends about you and I look forward to the next time! Beverly Norman
"Dear Ellen, I would like to thank you for coming and meeting with us and sharing your special talent of creative artistry and the Word. Everyone had a marvelous time and although we had some giggles with our painting ability, overall, everyone's piece turned out to be quite unique and very lovely. Thank you so much." Linda Suggs
"Thank you for an inspiring message today of our Savior! And thank you for a fun fun fun art session. Everyone is amazed they finished a painting today and they love you! You are a special and gifted woman! God Bless." Barbara League
