Nehemiah - Chapter 7: The construction was over. Now it was time for the real work to begin. Just as the walls were in shambles, so were the people's lives. Nehemiah began to organize the social structure. He delegated out authority by appointing new leaders. He chose men because of their integrity and because they feared the Lord. (Of all the qualities required for a leadership position, look what Nehemiah valued most!)
